ISEC Senior Meeting

On April 20, The International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA hosted a meeting between Dean Atom Mkhitaryan, Head of Public Relations and Career Department Lilit Adamyan, Chairmen of Student Scientific Society and Student Council, and Seniors of different Groups.
The meeting’s objectives were to inform students about the Center’s transition to a new stage of development and positioning as a research university, to keep up to date on upcoming events, internship and employment opportunities, to identify the needs of the students and suggest relevant solutions.
In his welcome address, ISEC NAR RA Dean A. Mkhitaryan emphasized the importance of students actively participating in decision-making process of the Center. He also offered to hold an open discussion on issues of concern to students, listen to their viewpoints and suggestions regarding the vision of the Center as a research university.
L. Adamyan, Head of Public Relations and Career Department of ISEC, organized a discussion on the subject of internships and careers for students, gave an overview of the initiatives taken by the Center in this regard, and advised attendees to seize the moment and actively take part in ongoing events.
The students who attended the meeting proposed solutions for a variety of problems, including increasing student activity, setting up a summer school, publishing materials about outstanding scientists, enhancing the educational process, forming new joint cooperative relationships, and other issues.
