 To the Lectures of Professor Andrea Petroselli, University of Tuscia

Dear Students and Lecturers,

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme implemented between the University of Tuscia and ISEC NAS RA, at the initiative of the Department of Geology of ISEC NAS RA and the Institute of Geological Sciences of the NAS RA, Professor Andrea Petroselli will deliver a series of lectures it the Institute of Geological Sciences of NAS RA on May 26–28 of this year.

Andrea Petroselli is an Associate Professor of Hydrology and Hydraulics at the University of Tuscia and Rector’s Delegate for the Italian Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS). His scientific research focuses on hydrological modelling, flood assessment, the study of small and ungauged basins, as well as natural hazard modelling.

Lecture Topics:
• EBA4SUB (Event-based Approach for Small and Ungauged Basins)
• COSMO4SUB (Continuous Simulation Modelling for Small and Ungauged Basins)
• Virtual Rain (Stochastic Rainfall Generator)

Lecture Schedule:

May 26, Tuesday, 10:00–13:00
Theoretical Lecture
Presentation of the theoretical foundations and applications of EBA4SUB, COSMO4SUB, and Virtual Rain.

May 28, Thursday, 10:00–13:00
Practical Seminar
Practical application of the software tools and hands-on work with students.
