Research Fellowship
February 23, 2017CRRC-Armenia announces the Civic Engagement Research Fellowship to conduct a research on the topic related to Civic Engagement in Local Governance. Candidates can also use the databases compiled by CRRC-Armenia within the Civic Engagement in Local Governance (CELoG) Project and do a research on the basis of this data. Fellows will be involved in an individual research that will pay particular attention to the challenges as well as the potential possibilities the communities have towards the development of their own capacities.
Fellowship award
The applicants will get an opportunity to work on their own research using databases gathered by CRRC-Armenia and present their findings (to relevant stakeholders) in Armenia. Four Fellows will be selected for this Fellowship based on their research proposal. The remuneration for each Fellow will be Gross 100.000 AMD for each month of the Fellowship (4 possible months).
Eligibility
Applications may be submitted by interested parties as well as students from Public Administration, Social Administration, Political Science, Economics and other related disciplines, with the focus on local government issues in Armenia. Proficiency in English-both written and oral as well as knowledge of statistical software packages (STATA, SPSS, and Excel) will be an advantage.
Deliverables
Upon the end of Fellowship, the candidates should produce research papers (minimum 10 pages).
