Seminar on “How to Prepare a Scientific Grant Proposal” Held for ISEC Staff

On October 29, 2025, the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (ISEC NAS RA) hosted a seminar dedicated to the intricacies of developing scientific grant proposals. The seminar was led by ISEC Dean Atom Mkhitaryan and attended by ISEC staff members.

During the session, Dean Mkhitaryan covered key topics, including:

1. The definition of a “Scientific Program”
2. The structure of a research program
3. Step-by-step guidance for program development
4. Characteristics of a high-quality program
5. Available grant sources

To make the seminar engaging and practical, the speaker employed interactive methods and shared well-known situational examples. The seminar concluded with an active discussion where participants exchanged ideas on preparing team grant applications for ISEC. Useful online resources were also provided to help staff better understand grant opportunities and the overall process of proposal preparation.

Organized in collaboration with the ISEC Foreign Affairs Department, this seminar is part of a series of ongoing professional development initiatives at ISEC, which will be continued.
