ISEC Presented at the "European Researchers' Night" (ERNA) Event

On September 25–26, the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (ISEC) participated with a dedicated pavilion in the large-scale event "European Researchers' Night in Armenia" (ERNA).

Since ERNA is an event dedicated to science, ISEC's scientific activities and scientific publications were presented comprehensively with a special emphasis at the Center's pavilion.

Visitors were introduced to the opportunities offered by ISEC's more than 30 Master's degree programs, as well as summary information regarding the admission procedure.

Members of ISEC's Student Council and Student Scientific Society, representatives of administrative and academic staff, and heads of departments were involved in the work of the pavilion, sharing their professional and research experience with visitors.

The activities of the ISEC pavilion were coordinated by the Public Relations and Career Department.

On September 25, the "Zhest" Psychological Center was also represented at the ISEC pavilion on a collaborative basis as a laboratory for organizing Master's internships for the Department of Psychology at ISEC.

On September 26, the Center's Master's program "Aerospace Instrumentation"—unique in the republic—was prominently highlighted at the ISEC pavilion. The Head of the Department, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences Andranik Aghajanyan, and several alumni, including Vruyr Grigoryan, the 2024 winner of the pan-Armenian competition "100 Ideas for Armenia," shared their research experience with visitors.

During the presentation of educational programs, the professional achievements of ISEC students and alumni were also emphasized. Visitors interested in pharmacy had the opportunity to communicate with Hasmik Jughatsyan, a graduate of the "Pharmacy" program, who was recognized as the Republic's Best Master's Student of the Year in the "Medicine" category in 2026, taking first place. Meanwhile, Arine Mkhitaryan, a Master's student in the "International Relations" program, answered visitors' questions regarding Erasmus+ mobility programs based on her personal experience gained at the University of Bologna.

Summarizing the two-day event, ERNA proved to be an effective platform for scientific and research communication, contributing particularly to increasing interest in science among schoolchildren.

 

ISEC's participation in ERNA highlighted the Center's core message: build the future with science, choose quality education, and become a part of innovation.
