Dean Atom Mkhitaryan Presents the Activities of the International Scientific-Educational Center on Public Radio of Armenia

On January 15 of the current year, Atom Mkhitaryan, Dean of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, gave an interview on the Public Radio of Armenia during the live broadcast of the program “Dprutyun.” During the interview, he presented the Center’s key areas of activity, its scientific and educational potential, and its most recent achievements.

The discussion was framed within the theme of the program — “What kind of higher education and scientific system does 21st-century Armenia need?” — in the context of which Mr. Mkhitaryan comprehensively outlined the strategic priorities of the Center. In particular, he addressed the modernization of academic programs, the development of laboratory and research infrastructure, the expansion of international academic mobility, student achievements, and the active involvement of students in contemporary research and innovation projects.

Special attention was also given to the international project “EU Bridge,” scheduled to be launched on January 29–30 of this year and coordinated by ISEC. The project was presented as a significant international platform aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of the Center, enhancing the international experience of its staff and students, and expanding cooperation with partner organizations involved in the program.
