ISEC NAS RA Students Visit the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia

On December 19, 2025, a group of students from the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA (ISEC), primarily master’s students in Jurisprudence, visited the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

The visit was initiated by ISEC Dean Atom Mkhitaryan and organized with the support of the ISEC Department of Public Relations and Career. The visiting group also included ISEC Dean Atom Mkhitaryan and Head of the Department of Public Relations and Career Heghine Melkonyan.

During the visit, the group had the opportunity to learn about the architectural history of the National Assembly building, visit the library, museum, corridor exhibitions of historical value, and see the plenary hall.

The main stop of the ISEC group was the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly, where a meeting and discussion were held with the Deputy Chair of the Committee, Arusyak Julhakyan. The discussion focused on the Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia, particularly the procedure for electing the National Assembly. A. Julhakyan willingly presented the key legislative regulations related to the topic and then answered all questions raised by ISEC master’s students and staff.

The visit to the National Assembly was highly effective, ensuring not only the strengthening of legislative knowledge but also leaving unforgettable impressions conveyed by the walls of a building distinguished by its significance and architectural grandeur.
