The ISEC NAS RA deepens its international ties with the University of Dubrovnik

On 29th May 2025, the Director of the ISEC of the NAS RA, Armen Sargsyan, was hosted by the Rector of the University of Dubrovnik, Nebojša Stojčić, and future opportunities for academic cooperation were discussed. This high-level meeting was an important step towards strengthening the international partnership ties of the ISEC NAS RA and creating new opportunities for students and academic staff.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of double degree programs, the expansion of student and faculty mobility programs, as well as the possibilities of implementing joint scientific projects. The ISEC NAS RA and the University of Dubrovnik are already cooperating within the framework of the AFISHE program, aimed at promoting excellence in the field of fish farming and aquaculture. During the discussions, the prospect of expanding cooperation in the fields of business administration and economics was emphasized, considering that the ISEC NAS RA has a specialized chair in these areas.
As a result of the meeting, Director Armen Sargsyan and Rector Nebojša Stojčić agreed to develop and sign a memorandum of understanding to establish bilateral cooperation in a number of academic areas. The partnership will start in the fields of economics and management, with the prospect of further expansion.
In addition, the Rector suggested that students of the ISEC NAS RA participate in the Dubrovnik summer schools to gain international experience and new educational skills.
This cooperation is another important step in the internationalization process of the ISEC NAS RA, while creating new opportunities for students and faculty to engage in the European educational arena.
