Karen Hambaryan is a Master’s graduate student of the Department of Geology of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. Due to his hard work and obtained high-quality education he is currently working as a junior researcher in the Minerals Laboratory of the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of the RA, and is going to continue his PhD studies.

It was his love and passion for the natural sciences that made Karen choose geology, which, became for him not only profession, but also a means of self-expression and an integral part of his life.

Karen received his bachelor's degree in Geology Department of the Faculty of YSU Geography and Geology, then he continued his postgraduate studies at the Department of Geology of the NAS RA, where along with theoretical knowledge, he also gained lots of practical knowledge through practical lessons in the field.

"I love reading and playing music in my free time, I also often like to hang out with friends. I am also interested in other natural sciences, among which I give a special place to astronomy and planetary science," says Karen.

Karen recommends to future undergraduate students to study their postgraduate program at the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA, since well-known scientists and academicians of the RA teach here, and the theoretical knowledge gained during the studies is supported by practical work, using the latest equipment and technologies available in the institute.
