"Teach for Armenia" Leadership Development Program

Registration for participation in the "Teach for Armenia" leadership development program started on January 9. The deadline of applications is April 30, inclusive.
"Teach for Armenia" leadership development program recruits the most gifted young people of the republic by sending them to work as teachers in the most needy communities of Armenia. The participants are members of the two-year "Teach for Armenia" leadership development program, during which they acquire knowledge and skills, new outlook to enhance pupils’ classroom achievements and leadership skills, simultaneously implementing community development initiatives. At the end of the two-year program the participants are appointed ambassadors and sent to work in strategically important circles that are the basis of proportional education movement in Armenia.  Today "Teach for Armenia" leadership development program is operating in 52 partner schools of 6 regions in Armenia. The program involves three generations of participants. The 14 participants of the first generation have already completed the two-year program and found their professional career, while the 71 participants of the second and third generations are working with 5000 children. "Teach for Armenia" program continuously cooperates with new schools and communities to become accessible to every child living in even the most distant regions of Armenia. To participate in the program you need to complete the application form.
"Teach for Armenia" is an independent program that collaborates with the RA government, regional administrations, schools, universities, local and foreign organizations and individuals. The model, on the basis of which the program has been created, has a history of 25 years. It is a successful program to achieve a social change and has been implemented in around 46 countries of the world.
