A Special Prize Will be Awarded for the Best Master's Thesis

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Director of the Institute of Geological Sciences of NAS RA, Khachatur Meliksetyan, and the Executive Director of Lidian Armenia CJSC, Hayk Aloyan, to ensure joint scientific research and productive project implementation, and share advanced professional expertise.
Along with ample opportunities for joint scientific research and projects in the areas of subsurface geological study and environmental protection, the cooperative effort enables the Master’s students of ISEC NAS RA Department of Geology to develop mutually agreed solutions to the issues that have been raised.
Training of Master’s students and young professionals will also be implemented within the framework of the joint cooperation through the organization of joint conferences, seminars, and research studies. The Lydian Armenia will also award a special prize of AMD equivalent to 1500 euros to the author of the best Master's thesis, in an effort to encourage excellence in student research work.
